Erica Venancio
Erica Venancio is a senior agribusiness executive and association leader with nearly 20 years of experience supporting organizations across the grain, transportation, and broader food and agriculture sectors. She is a Principal at Petersen & Company and currently serves as Executive Director for multiple national and regional agribusiness associations, where she is recognized for her leadership in member relations, governance, communications, and event management. Erica brings a practical, execution-oriented approach to helping organizations strengthen operations, engage stakeholders, and deliver value to their members.
Throughout her career, Erica has served as the primary staff executive and trusted advisor for organizations including the American Association of Grain Inspection & Weighing Agencies (AAGIWA), the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City, the Transportation, Elevator & Grain Merchants Association (TEGMA), and the GEAPS Foundation. Her experience spans association management, financial oversight, strategic planning, public relations, and large-scale event execution. Erica holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and brings deep institutional knowledge of agribusiness governance, industry collaboration, and member-driven organizations.
