As Founder and CEO of Horizon Venture Management, Jared works with AgTech startups, livestock genetics companies, and established agricultural businesses to refine product–market fit, build scalable business models, and translate innovation into clear, economically viable solutions for producers and partners across the value chain.

With more than two decades of experience in the beef industry, Jared has successfully launched and scaled multiple ventures from inception to multi-million-dollar revenue operations. His work spans genetics, seedstock, and commercial beef production, with deep experience aligning stakeholders from ranch to end market.

Previously, Jared led global business development for ABS Global’s NuEra program, where he transformed early-stage commercialization efforts into structured, revenue-generating models across North America, Australia, and New Zealand. His work included developing key account strategies, pioneering partnership-based revenue models, and introducing new pathways for genetic adoption at scale.

Jared also brings board-level perspective from his time with FCS Financial and the National Institute for Animal Agriculture, contributing to strategic decision-making around the economic and structural forces shaping agriculture.
